Gartner recently published a new Magic Quadrant on WAN Edge Infrastructure, profiling twenty SD-WAN vendors. VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud, the technology platform for Mosaic SoftWave SD-WAN-as-a-Service, has been named a Leader in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant on WAN Edge Infrastructure. VMware placed furthest on Completeness of Vision.

Back in 2014, Mosaic NetworX evaluated all the leading SD-WAN solutions on the market, and we selected VeloCloud, based on the completeness of their offering, their global cloud gateway network, and the fact that they were completely focused on supporting managed service provider’s like Mosaic.

Today, Mosaic delivers SD-WAN as a fully managed service that is built on VMware NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud. Mosaic SoftWave SD-WAN as-a-Service simplifies global carrier network management, and delivers WAN connectivity that is scalable, resilient, and flexible.

The primary reasons for the rapid adoption of SD-WAN are cost savings, network agility, application-aware routing, optimized cloud connectivity, and enhanced application and performance visibility.

Combined with VMware’s NSX SD-WAN by VeloCloud, the Mosaic proprietary SD-WAN Supply Chain Management model comprises the entire ecosystem of people, activities, and information required to deliver SD-WAN as-a-Service. Leveraging the industry-leading SD-WAN technology and carrier-agnostic network services, Mosaic delivers SD-WAN as-a-Service in a highly orchestrated, single-vendor solution.
